Welcome at my website
Hello, I am Helma van Rijn. I work at the ID-StudioLab as PhD-student on ‘difficult-to-reach’ user groups (users with cognitive disabilities/disorders). On this website you can read about my projects.
My research interests lie in how to involve these special user groups in design, such as children with autism and elderly with dementia. How designers can get understanding of their needs and feelings. During my master ‘Design for Interaction’ I did psychology courses and worked on contextmapping techniques to involve people in the design process.
